Engineering Scholarships at Georgetown University for 2025/2026 Session

1. Goldwater Scholarship
Being one of the remarkable scholarships at Georgetown University, the Goldwater Scholarship Award offers support for students in the STEM program. It is open for undergraduates students in the STEM field to support and groom engineers, scientists, and researchers. This scholarship is renewable for 2 years and is worth $7,500 per year. The scholarship is currently open, and will remain open until the end of January next year.
Eligibility
- Must pursue a degree in STEM with the aim of pursuing a research career.
- Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA on a scale of 4.0.

2. Churchill Scholarship
This is a one-year scholarship available to students enrolled in a master’s program, either a math, science, or engineering career. It is open to students enrolled in engineering courses such as chemical engineering, machine learning, structural engineering, energy technologies, nuclear energy, etc. The Churchill scholarship runs for 9-12 months, and it is worth $65,000. It covers tuition, visa fees, health surcharge, a trip to the UK, and a stipend. Not only that, the recipient can also apply for a $4,000 grant. To apply for the Churchill scholarship, your academic potential and accomplishments in your field and through your research activities are important.

3. Future Leaders in Tech (FLITE) Stipend Program
This is more of a stipend program as it helps undergraduate students gain work experience in technology via internship. Students struggling to apply for or accept internship offers due to financial restraint can go for FLITE. The FLITE organization funds students interning in any tech role or organization. It’s a need-based program that provides funds for travel, housing, and other costs for students who don’t have the financial capability to pay for it during their internship.

- Must be interested in getting a summer internship in any tech industry.
- Must show genuine financial need.

4. Cyber Corps Scholarship For Service
From the National Science Foundation (NFS), the Cyber Corps scholarship program allows undergraduate and graduate students get their degrees in exchange for their service. This service is usually in the form of employment at any governmental cybersecurity position. To access this scholarship, you must be enrolled at Georgetown University for a full-time technology or engineering program focused on cybersecurity. Also, you are obligated to work in a full-time role at a government cybersecurity position after you have completed your degree. This scholarship covers tuition, stipends, book funds, professional development, and health insurance. It’s important to note that Applicants must be US citizens or green card holders.
