Vice Chancellor’s International Undergraduate Scholarship
This scholarship aims to help deserving international students starting an undergraduate program at UTS in Sydney. International students who embody the university’s basic values and are dedicated to creativity, and excellence will be eligible for the scholarship. This scholarship covers Full Tuition Fees for the duration of the program. Application starts November 1, 2024, and ends November 30, 2024.

Eligibility
- Be an international student
- Fulfill all entrance requirements for the chosen course by the scholarship application deadline and start attending classes full-time on the Sydney campus.
- Possess an overall average of 85% with a pass mark of 50% or higher in a UTS-recognized high school qualification.
- Have finished an Australian Year 12 or high school coursework equivalent to an Australian Year 12 outside of Australia. And, it should be no more than three (3) years before starting at UTS and being accepted based on this qualification.
- To qualify, all candidates must use the UTS online scholarship application form.
- The highest-ranked applicant will receive the scholarship based on their answers to the UTS online scholarship application questions and their academic merit in the academic qualification.
Selection Process
The highest-ranked applicant will receive the scholarship based on their answers to the UTS online scholarship application questions. Their academic qualifications will also determine admission into their chosen UTS Bachelor’s degree program.

UTS Academic Excellence International Scholarship
The UTS Academic Excellence overseas scholarship aims to draw exceptional foreign candidates who want to enroll in undergraduate or graduate programs at UTS in Sydney.
Award Value: 30% of tuition fees
Level of Study: Undergraduate and Postgraduate
Applicable Courses: All
Duration: The whole duration of the program
Timeline: Application opens July 15, 2024, and ends December 15, 2024.
Eligibility
To qualify for the scholarship, a candidate needs to fulfill each of the following requirements:
- Maintain your status as an international student (not a citizen of Australia, New Zealand, or a permanent resident of Australia)
- Fulfill all admission requirements for the chosen UTS undergraduate or graduate coursework program.
- Finish an Australian Year 12 or UTS-recognized high school curriculum equivalent to an Australian Year 12. Or finish an Australian Foundation Studies program to get into UTS for undergraduate coursework.
- For honors courses, students must have a bachelor’s degree recognized by UTS and were accepted to UTS based on this qualification.
- For admission to UTS for postgraduate coursework, the most recent tertiary degree has been completed and recognized by UTS at an Australian Bachelor’s degree level, the Graduate Management Admission Test, or the Graduate Record Examination.
Applicants must not:
- Be enrolled in a UTS online or distance learning program
- Finish an authorized pathway program or external articulation from a non-Australian university.
- Be a government-sponsored student or a recipient of other UTS grants or scholarships.
Selection Process
- Academic achievement in the Australian Year 12 or UTS-recognized high school coursework equivalent to an Australian Year 12. Or Australian Foundation Studies is required for undergraduate coursework admission.
- Academic merit in the most recent Australian Bachelor degree-level or higher tertiary qualification, GMAT Exam, or the GRE General Test is needed for the UTS postgraduate coursework program.
How to Apply
All incoming overseas students enrolling at UTS in Sydney for an undergraduate or graduate degree will be automatically considered for this scholarship by UTS Future Learner Recruitment and Admissions. No additional scholarship application or documentation is necessary beyond what the applicant needs for the course application.
