Fully Funded Scholarships at Monash University for 2025/26 Session

Monash International Merit Scholarship

The Monash International Merit Scholarship will be automatically awarded to international students from all countries who have been offered undergraduate courses by Monash.

As a scholarship winner throughout your degree, you will receive $10,000 per year. The total value of the scholarship is up to $50,000. Applications are available for all courses except Bachelor of Surgery, Bachelor of Medicine, Doctor of Medicine, and Medical Science.

Level of Study: Undergraduate

Timeline: The application closes on December 5, 2024.

Eligibility 

• You must be an international student
• You must have gotten an unconditional offer of a full Monash course.
• You must plan on enrolling full-time in an undergraduate program at one of Monash’s Australian campuses.

Ongoing Eligibility 

To maintain this scholarship:

• You must keep your distinction average at 70% or higher every semester.
• You must supply a student profile for inclusion in Monash recruitment, marketing, promotional materials, and events.

English Language Requirements

You must meet the English language requirements to enroll in an undergraduate or graduate program at Monash. The level of English proficiency required for each course varies. Monash uses your most recent test results to determine your level of proficiency. They only consider the most recent test or assessment, even if you’ve completed multiple ones.

If your prior coursework does not meet the English language standards, you can take English language competency tests to get into the Monash course of your choice. If your English test results do not meet the English language requirements for your selected subject, the Monash University English Language Centre offers programs that give you the best opportunity to get into Monash University.

Engineering Masters Pathway Scholarship

This scholarship is for exceptional Year 12 students who want to enroll in the Master of Engineering and Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) programs. Up to ten scholarships, each worth up to $30,000, are available each year.

Level of Study: Postgraduate and Undergraduate 

Applicable Courses: Engineering

Timeline: The application closes on December 5, 2024.

Eligibility 

You have to be one of the following:

• A New Zealand citizen
• An Australian citizen
• An international student
• Australian humanitarian visa holder

You must fulfill the following requirements:

• A new undergraduate student who plans to enroll in a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) single degree and Master of Engineering program in Australia
• Must have attained a minimum ATAR score of 98.00 and be enrolled in the IB or Australian Year 12 program.

Selection Criteria

The highest-achieving Year 12 students will get this award depending on their academic performance.

Ongoing Eligibility 

You must enroll in one of the following engineering specializations at the end of the common first year and maintain a minimum Weighted Average Mark of 70 or above each semester:

• Aerospace engineering
• Civil engineering
• Chemical engineering
• Electrical and computer systems engineering
• Materials engineering
• Environmental engineering
• Mechanical engineering
• Robotics and Mechatronics engineering
