Eligibility
To qualify for this scholarship, you must be a full-time international student starting coursework toward an undergraduate or graduate degree (graduate certificates excluded) and fulfil the requirements listed below:
- For undergraduate admissions, attain a minimum ATAR of 85; for postgraduate applications, reach a minimum WAM equivalent of 65.
- Start your study in the year and session specified in your offer letter for the scholarship.
English Language Requirements
Macquarie University expects candidates to demonstrate that their English language skills are adequate for the linguistic demands of their proposed course of study. The university accepts a variety of proofs to verify your English language proficiency. This could include:
- An authorized English language proficiency exam
- A recognized qualification taught in English and an approved foundation program
- Macquarie University College’s English Language Programme (ELP)
- Other authorized English for Academic Purposes (EAP) programs
- Other certified proof considered to meet basic standards

- Candidates must complete an online application for the course. Upon processing your course application, you will obtain a Macquarie University Student Number, which is required to submit the online scholarship application.
- Candidates must complete an online scholarship application and include “VCIS” in the area labeled “Scholarship Name.
Women in Management and Finance Scholarship
The Macquarie University Women in Management and Finance Scholarship honors female students who perform academically. It is a competitive scholarship for students with outstanding qualifications and academic merit. This scholarship helps qualified students pursue knowledge and seeks to inspire them to realize their full potential. This scholarship is worth $15,000 for the duration of your Master’s studies ($7,500 per session).

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must enrol full-time as an international student starting a suitable postgraduate program on campus and fulfil the following requirements:
- Be a female
- Be a national of one of the following countries: Greater China, the United States, Canada, the African, Latin American, or ASEAN regions.
- Hold a complete offer for one of the applicable courses.
- Achieve a minimum WAM of 65 or above when applying for postgraduate courses.
- Start studying in the year and session specified in your offer letter for the scholarship.
- Unless specified differently by the Scholarship Committee, the student must not have been awarded a scholarship or sponsorship for the degree from Macquarie University or another organization.
