4. Hi Hiidee!Some other specifications stated that Tecno 8h has no WiFi hotspot. Pls tell me is that true or not? If yes does it support downloaded WiFi hotspot from Google play store?Pls, tell me I’m waiting for your response!

   • Just confirmed from Jumia customer care and they said the device lacks the Hotspot but they didn’t finalize about the ability to use third party hotspot.

5. Hi Hiidee ! Some other specifications stated that Techno 8H Droidpad 8 has no WiFi hotspot. I am asking you now ,could it support downloaded WiFi hotspot from Google play store or it has built in WiFi hotspot as you stated here on this site?Pls,Hiidee tell me the truth!

   • Hi Abel the device doesn’t have built in wifi Hotspot and possibly it may allow installation of Hotspot app from playstore and might not work.

6. Tecno 8H Droipad 8 Android Tablet Tecno 8H Tablet also known as Droipad 8 Tablet secretly hits the jumia online store. Though we know about tecno releasing a Tablet device through a chat with the deputy Manager but not so soon. Looking at The Tecno 8H (aka. Droidpad 8) for the first time, you will think this is HTC one M8 or M9 because of the body/design. This is amazing. Thanks for sharing.

Got the tab ystrday from jumia and I can say no mobile device has ever had d kind of speaker the 8h comes with couple with wifi hotspot,fm radio,OTG function,OTA update option available,sleak design dat looks like htc one etc.I reserve my comment,wen u get d tab u will write more dan me n d price s cheap for ds device bliv me.

8. Where to buy Tecno 8H in Ibadan except online business?

   • Hi Abel, you can check shops at Iwo Road side but its more preferably to buy online from Jumia.

   • You would order what you want to buy and the company would ship it to their office at Ibadan, you can only collect if you have ordered before. The office is located at Bodija around Favos bus stop. The company is currently using a rented flat but I think they should be considering plans to open bigger and more befitting office considering the large number of orders emanating from Ibadan.

You would be taking to Jumia tecno 8H page and click on BUY NOW button. fill all details include your town information, state and any other required. Continue till you see order received.     • YES, the tab can make voice call and are you talking about Tecno G9 or what?

    • The device is good than the G9 but the G9 has Hotspot while 8H doesn’t.

      • bro the Tecno 8h has hotspot , don’t be mislead I bought mine few days ago and I must give kudos to Tecno for this new innovation. Check your phone settings click other u will see there tethering and hotspots together. My only concern of this product is that is too weity and the music sound is not good enough though the price for this tab worth it less than $200!

I love TECNO Phone somuch I have been patronising them since 2007 till now,but I discover that they have not meet up to what I source in huawei p8max it 6.8inch and it spec& features it so superb I like such phone but in TECNO product how which TECNO can produs this kind of phone and name it phantom z1 by November 2015.

15. I just bought this device few days ago, I found it very good compared to the Galaxy tab 4 . The resolution is great. My problem now is the music player not loud and good enough. I appreciate Tecno. I advice people to buy it. I bought mine in Nigeria Calabar

16. I got mine two days ago.. It has a Hotspot… It’s a rumour that it doesn’t have. It’s an awesome tablet. The speakers are just too powerful. Displays are so bright and not blurry like G9. I am only trying to figure out how to screenshot

    • To take screenshots just press the volume down button and power button at same time for little seconds.

    • Samsung has everything than mtk device but if you can’t afford galaxy tecno 8h is the best alternative for you.

    • just locate a Tecno store in your area and move in with your buyers receipt.

    • Hi Austin, I don’t think that would be possible but only if the person using the Tecno H8 needs the infinix hot note. But there are some instance you would add more money to your hot note to get the H8.

    • I have a friend who uses this 8H device, so far so good, his comments have been positive. He tried convincing me to get this but I’m chilling for the Camon. I can’t manage the 8H’s screen size.

    • There is just a slight problem with weather app connecting to internet just restart your device and all would be back.

32. I have been using the device for more than a month now, and I strongly believe the info I’ll be dropping are fairly genuine. First about the sound of the speaker, I have two friends that uses the techno g9, while ones own speaker is loud, the other is not even though both device are the same model,so I think is one thing u’ll find varrying in the same techno devices.
    I didn’t have to root my device to use the glo 3gb bis subscription bcos I just used the mtk engineering app to change my imei,and it worked, having used the subscription twice now and browsed with the tab,I tink according to the specs it is only restricted to 3g network.
    I believe that the duration of every device is user dependent,i haven’t experienced my fone turning off at anytime,so I would to say that u guys be careful what u put or install into ur device least u brick it,check if its comparable first I guess.
    It definitely has WiFi hostspot and I’ve used it over and over and over again.
    I love the device and if I would use a device again and again it’ll be the techno 8h

        • That is serious, just a new device. I guessed you overload the phone with Apps and games that consume high RAM space just reduce them.

35. The new Tecno Droidpad H8 is a superb machine. Browsing & call reception are great. The audio & visual sound are exceptional. It is a clear difference between powerbike and okay. Wish I have come across it earlier.
    However I observed that attempting to charge it with a generator or inverter is one hell of a challenge. It charges at a snail speed. But plug it into electricity and it powers itself like an automobile throttle. Interestingly once fully charged, the battery lasts me for 2 days in spite of heavy browsing, watching of clips and non-stop music.
    As I said, I wish I had come in contact with it earlier. I simply love my droidpad!

    • Hi Kim, to screenshot on the Tecno 8H droipad, press the volume down button + power button at the same time.

38. There is a star at the status bar and i don’t know how it gets there please help me remove it.

    • Did you have the twitter app installed? If yes then it should be the one showing the star. But if not try to open the tray and click on the star and see where it link to.

39. Hi,my techno droid pad 8H is not working again after I switched it off and went out for 10 hours. Any idea of a solution please?

    • Try to Boot to recovery and factory hard reset.

40. I don’t recommend this product. Mine started having problem less than a month from when I bought it. It goes off just like that won’t come ON till days after with low battery. Took it back to Tecno for repairs and uptill nw its having the same problem. I regret buying the tablet. Disappointed in Tecno too.

44. my techno 8h was great, until less than 4 months of purchase, the screen won’t work properly. When i press one thing another appears and looks like it is the same for two friends i bought it with. The screen was not very “smart” from the beginning anyway. takes sometime before what you press appears. is it the sensor?? or something else?

    • I guess it was not properly produced. You can take it to tecno calcare center for repair.

45. can I upgrade my tecno 8h to 5.1

    • Hi Price, Tecno H8 cannot be upgraded to Android 5.1 as at now.
