New iPhone Xs, Xr and XS Max – Which One You Should Buy?

After a long waiting, this week apple company announced their new range of iPhones X series at an event in the Steve Jobs Theatre at Apple Park, California, US. The new iPhones include the three new models – iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR along with Apple Watch 4. These all three models sport the same design as the company’s tenth-anniversary model i.e. iPhone X, but with some various different features that make them fall in different price categories.

After going through the given comparison chart, let’s go through some detailed elaboration of some important feathers of these three new iPhone models.

iPhone XR vs iPhone XS vs iPhone XS Max – Ram & Storage Size

As it is not completely confirmed about the RAM of all the three new iPhones models, but the rumors suggested that iPhone XR will come with 3GB RAM and the other two iPhones models – iPhone XS and XS Max will have 4GB RAM. This will be confirmed after reviewing the device.
Storage size or internal memory is another differentiator between these three new iPhones models. The iPhone XR available in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB options, whereas both the other XS and XS Max are available in 64GB, 256GB and 512GB variants.

This is must say that all the new iPhones mimic the last year’s iPhone X’s iconic design, which means all the three phone have near edge-to-edge displays.
Talking about the size then all the three new models of iPhones have Apple’s new “all-screen” design that dispenses of the superfluous space above and below the screen and pushes the display all the way to the edges. Here is the physical size of all three new iPhones –

You will get more option in color to choose in the iPhone XR, as it comes in a range of various shades including white, black, blue, yellow, coral and red. If you are going for iPhone XS or XS Max then the color options are limited to grey, silver and the new gold.
Along with this, the material is also different, as the iPhone XR has aluminium sides, while both the iPhone XS and XS Max are made-up of stainless steel, which gives these two iPhones a more premium finishing and looks.

Amongst the all three new iPhone models, the iPhone XS has the smallest display size – 5.8 inches (2,436 x 1,125 pixels) same as the iPhone X, whereas the XS Max model has 6.5 inches (2,688 x 1,242 pixels) display.  Both the model’s screens use Apple’s new OLED display tech for “the most accurate color in the industry, HDR, and true blacks.”
Other than this, the iPhone XR model which brings a 6.1-inch LCD screen that Apple is calling Liquid Retina, LCD 1,792 x 828 pixels. Here’s how the three models shake out.

Whereas the iPhone XR has a single 12 megapixal wide-angle (f/1.8 aperture) sensor, which offers up to 5x digital zoom.

The pricing for the iPhone XR starts at $749/£749 for the 64GB. The 128GB version will set you back $£799/£799 and the 256GB will cost $899/£899.
