Gionee, one of the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has unveiled a mini variant of its Marathon M5 smartphone. Gionee Marathon M5 Mini was launched in Nigeria. Gionee Marathon M5 Mini sports a 5-inch HD IPS display with resolution of 720×1280 pixels and the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for maximum screen protection. Gionee Marathon M5 Mini is powered by a 64-bit 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6580 SoC processor, added with 2GB of RAM for good multi-tasking experience. The smartphone sports 8GB of built-in storage which can be expanded via microSD card (up to 128GB). The smartphone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box with Amigo UI on top.
The Marathon M5 Mini is built with an 8-MegaPixel Rear Camera and a 5-MegaPixel Front Camera. Gionee announced that the smartphone would have the fast charging technology feature.
Apart from the good design and faster processor, the smartphone also have a big Li-Po battery capacity of 4000mAh.
