2. Citizens of the United Kingdom and British overseas citizens – A British citizen or a British overseas citizen who has been granted re-admissibility to the United Kingdom is defined as follows:

  • Citizens of British overseas territories who are British citizens – One who obtains citizenship in a British overseas territory by virtue of being born or descending from a British ancestor, registering in that territory, or naturalizing in that territory is known as a citizen of a British overseas territory. Such citizens include those born in Anguilla, Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Falkland Islands, Gibraltar, Montserrat, Pitcairn, Saint Helena or the Turks and Caicos Islands.
  • A person who has obtained a British National (Overseas) passport issued by the United Kingdom to a person who was born, naturalized, or registered in Hong Kong as a British National (Overseas) passport holder.
  • British Subjects: In the United Kingdom, British Subjects are defined as those who hold a British Subject passport with an inscription stating that they are legally entitled to reside and work in the United Kingdom.

3. Holders of valid and current Special Administrative Region passports issued by the Government of the People's Republic of China in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region

4. A United States citizen or a person lawfully admitted to the United States for permanent residence who is in possession of their alien registration card (Green card) or who can offer other evidence of permanent residence is considered a permanent resident.
