Tecno recently introduced a new phablet to the mobile tech Market named Tecno Boom J8. Tecno Boom J8 is the successor to last year’s Boom J7, and it comes with the major improvement in the design and overall user experience. The new Android smartphone belong to the Boom series i.e. the music phones.
Tecno Boom J8 is built with Plastic and metal trimmings at the edge. Picking up the device is easy and handling is exceptionally comfortable. Thanks to the slightly curved edges and the flat-back – it’s easier to hold, though still just as easy to drop. The volume and power buttons are on the right-hand side while the charging port and speakers are both at the bottom.
The Boom J8 features a 5.5-inch screen with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution. It was reported that the display has been optimised to consume less battery.
Tecno Boom J8 is built with 64 bit Quad Core MediaTek MT6735 processor which produces some raw power and fantastic experience paired with 2GB of RAM. The processor proves the device would perform great in usage but not as much as some latest smartphone rocking with the latest chipset in Market. Boom J8 has an internal storage capacity of 16GB and external SD card slot capacity of up to 128GB which gives enough room to save any media and documents of any type on the phone.
Tecno Boom J8 is also born for taking great pictures and hot selfies, the smartphone features a 13 MP Back Camera with led flash for the night or dark shots. The Rear Camera is good for sharp and bright Selfies and snaps an image resolution of up to 4864 x 2736 pixels. Checking on the front of the device, there is a 5 Megapixel camera located at the top left side. There is also an additionally led flash to the front facing camera.
Though we all know most Android device are attery drainer, Boom J8 is really built to survive with a non-removable 3000 mAh battery. It was reported that the device has been optimised to reduce the drain on battery, therefore, allowing the battery to last longer for more than 36 hours on standby.
The smartphone is packed with free pouch and headset for protection and enjoying music on the go respectively.
